Domain Names Grow To 184,000,000

As reported by Verisign, Inc. domain names have grown to 184 Million for the second quarter of 2009. It’s a one percent increase from the first quarter of 2009 and a nine percent increase from first quarter 2008. For .com and .net domain names they grew to 93.5 million during the second quarter of 2009. It’s a one percent increase over the first quarter of 2009, a seven percent increase from first quarter 2008, and a 28 percent increase over the second quarter of 2007.
