<p><a href="https://auctions.godaddy.com/" target="_blank">GoDaddy Domain Auctions</a> has made some changes over the past couple weeks that include pricing changes for fire sale domains and time extensions when bidding on expiring domain auctions, more details below.</p>
<p><strong>Fire sale (Closeout) domains</strong> &#8211; now have price points of $9, $8, $7, $6, and $5. Formerly all closeout domain names were priced at just $5.</p>
<p><strong>Bidding time extension</strong> &#8211; when bidding on expired domains each bid now extends the auction an additional 2 minutes. Formerly an auction was extended an additional 2 minutes only when a bid was placed within the last 2 minutes.</p>
