Product domain PinkDiamond.com originally sold for $7,999 at Sedo in September 2009. Now today, about 6 weeks later it resold again at the Rick Latona live auction in New York City for $18,000. That’s a $10,000 profit excluding broker fees. There are not many industries outside of the domain industry that someone can make that [...]

In a article published by The New York Times domain auction site Sedo.com gets a quick mention as a specialized auction site for domain names. The other domain I found interesting is the domain balldontlie.com that sold for $3,250. [...]

A few weeks ago Bud Light started to heavily promote their Bud Light Grooler product with infomercial spoofs during football games. I blogged that the domain Grooler.com was up for auction on sedo and would have been a very smart idea for Bud Light to purchase it as I’m sure the domain is getting heavy [...]

Over the past weekend during football games Bud Light introduced a new infomercial parody for the Grooler and other crazy inventions. They were prominently displaying the domain Tailgate Approved to purchase the products advertised. Unfortunately Bud Light did not acquire the generic product domain Grooler.com from the aftermarket beforehand, however it’s coincidentally currently up for [...]
