Google has launched a new beta version of its popular AdWords keyword tool. Overall functionality appears to be the same, seems like it takes more clicks to get it to display the same results as the older version that only needed a single drop down changed. All the data appears to be the same, just a different interface that is very similar to the DoubleClick Ad Planner by Google.

You ever notice that the more people that use the tool the harder they make it to use? Overture did this also.

Google, like Overture, made the box where you put your keywords smaller and smaller until only two or three keywords could be seen at a time inside the box. I think they don’t want big lists of keywords and using the box for editing purposes.
